The host prepared icebreakers and meeting activities to stimulate communication, cooperation and friendship. Students from all six partner schools presented their schools as well as their towns, regions and countries through videos or slide presentations. Students from all partner schools prepared and presented a video/slideshow about project activities in their schools.
Hosting school will prepared a fair to present students mini companies and to share students’ products and services. Students shared their own products and will explain how they developed the idea and their business plan, how they produced them and organized marketing and advertising. During the fair we collected donations and donated to the UNICEF as a help to children around the world.
During the five-day activities the guests learned about the history, the traditions, natural and cultural attractions of the region. The region is industrial and agricultural. The city of Olomouc is very historical with a lot of sites. The centre is in the UNESCO list of historic heritage. The beautiful city centre with renaissance and baroque buildings, churches, fountains and statues is surrounded by green parks. On the other hand, the city is also quite modern and full of sport, good restaurants and hotels and you can find all types of entertainment there. The region is focused on industry – mainly machinery. But it also has got a long agricultural tradition: there are many farms, fields of crop and therefore the food industry – dairy producers, traditional local cheese producers, breweries, sugar refineries, chocolate factory and more. The host organized study visits for the international Erasmus+ Young Entrepreneurs team to these locations. Velka Bystrice is a small town – 3000 inhabitants, but it is nice, with a chateau, a river, parks and woods around. History and folk traditions are very strong in the town of Velka Bystrice. There are many community activities with celebrations and festivities throughout the year.
The host school has got a strong cooperation with innovative institutions of Olomouc region so all of us met some inspiring entrepreneurs. All the participants were active and prepared lots of hands-on activities for them – creativity, team building, problem solving. All students and teachers participated to the workshops about how to make traditional cookies gingerbread and strudel, robotic Lego workshop, workshop about making bird houses, workshops on financial education and entrepreneurship with educational experts, workshops and competitions: Let's risk, EU countries, World currencies.
The students wrote down in their project notebooks all the interesting things they learned, saw and made in order to prepare the impressions of this mobility, to disseminate these project activities in their schools. Finally, all participants received their mobility certificates.
